The management portal provides a single consolidated view of all customers, including their products & services, accounting, tickets, and orders.

The flexible product catalogue supports every type of product or service, and includes filters for limiting by quantity, date, customer demographics, division of your business, and serving areas.  Charges support recurring and non-recurring models, advance and arrears calculations, proration for partial period charges, bundles, promotions, and more.  Periods can be monthly or any number of months beyond, allowing for quarterly or annual charges.  

In the background, a file mediation engine can ingest any type of usage records.  If we don't support it, we'll work with you and your vendor to get the usage into our platform.

Visit a customer and see an accounting history, aged balance, past invoices, and apply adjustments or payments as needed.

Use the customer management portal as a subledger to your main accounting general ledger. The accounting of payments and newly minted billing revenue from the customer portal becomes subtotals to your main GL.

Accept all major credit cards. We've integrated with major payment processors, allowing you to accept credit card payments, both pre-authorized batches and one-time / real-time from inside our customer management portal. Bring your own merchant account and preferred payment processor to Datex.

The ticketing system helps manage customer inquiries, issues, and track events about the customer.  Tasks can be scheduled, prioritized, and assigned to either individuals or groups.  Hook events from other processes into tickets, like when a collection letter is sent or an internal provisioning activity is required.

Yes, it has reports too!

Live reporting from the customer management portal available on demand; delivered in either Spreadsheet or PDF formats.  Meanwhile, an extensive suite of revenue reports are delivered as part of the billing process output.  And since it's your data, snapshots of your customer or billing data are also available.

Commonplace technology with piece of mind security.

Fully hosted as a SaaS solution on Datex owned and controlled servers in two diverse co-location facilities. No third party access to the systems, with all system controls, backup, hardening, and DR processes built to meet or exceed PCI:DSS, CIS Benchmarks, or industry "best practices".

A full testing and training instance of the environment is available at all times, updated with any changes or release candidates before they are made live.  Datex maintains a PCI-DSS Service Provider Level 1 audit.

Track the sales agent of customers.  Track any agents of agents relationships. Calculate commissions to your agents based on revenue from your customers.

 

The system supports multiple commission plans, clawing back of commissions, multiple levels of agents of agents (MLM), and producing reporting for each agent to accompany their commission payment.

Track down customers and (nicely) ask them to pay.

Use the customer management portal to track and communicate with overdue customers.  A rules based system categorizes overdue balances, sends email communication, drives messaging on invoices, and ultimately sends demand letters, termination letters, or pushes the customer to outside collections.
